The course starts in the city of Edinburgh and takes you along

Run for us
Our work is totally dependent on
donations. Your support will help us find a
cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
All our runners will receive a breathable running vest with
iron-on letters and a fundraising pack. We'll support you all the
way through your training and fundraising, and be there on the day
to cheer you on!
The support of the Parkinson's UK team and fellow runners on the way round really kept me going.

Get your own place
We encourage everyone to apply for their own place so we can
have the largest team possible.
To get your own place in the 2012 Edinburgh Half Marathon, visit
the Edinburgh
Marathon Festival website. Unfortunately, places in the
Edinburgh Marathon have now sold out but we have charity
places - see below.
Once you've got your own place, please complete and return our
registration form (Word,
250KB) so we can support you.
If you have your own place, there's no minimum sponsorship
target.
Get your charity place
To apply for one of our places, please complete and return our
registration form (Word,
250KB). Places are allocated on a first come, first served
basis.
For each charity place we ask runners to pay a registration fee
and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship:
- Individual marathon: £40 reg fee plus £450
fundraising target
- Team marathon relay: £40 plus £500
- Half marathon: £25 plus £200
It's important to consider this commitment carefully when
applying - we rely on the sponsorship raised to fund our work
helping people with Parkinson's.
