Payroll giving is a great addition to your CSR programme. It’s easy to set up and a great way to enable your employees to give to their favourite charities.

How do we set it up?

The easiest way is to sign your company up with a Payroll Giving Agency who will set up the scheme. They can also answer any questions about Payroll Giving.

The largest ones are Charitable Giving, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) and Charities Trust. There is a full list of Payroll Giving Agencies on the gov.co.uk website

How do employees sign up?

Once you have set up the scheme, employees can sign up using this online form

Another great way to advertise Payroll Giving is to ask a Professional Fundraising Organisation to come and speak to your staff. They undertake workplace campaigns and represent several charities for employees to select from.

There are three PFOs that Parkinson’s UK work with: Hands on Helping, Payroll Giving in Action and StC Payroll Giving.

They will talk employees through the process and collect sign-ups using a hard copy version of the electronic form above.

The PFO will send the completed forms onto your chosen Payroll Giving Agency, who will process the donation.

Lack of public understanding can make simple things like getting the bus, going to work, or even heading out to the pub with friends daunting for people with Parkinson's.

Our free awareness session will give your staff a better understanding of Parkinson's and ways they can support customers or colleagues with the condition.
