Study of variations of AQP4 gene in people with Parkinson’s
The aim of the research is to establish if some variations of the AQP4 SNP gene have an effect on how Parkinson’s progresses.
400 people diagnosed with Parkinson’s who are,
• aged between 18 and 85 years
• and comfortable using the internet and technology
You will need to attend the research facility at King’s College Hospital for an initial 50-minute appointment where a blood sample will be taken and be shown how to use an Actigraph, a wrist-worn device that measures sleep quality. After this you will be asked to complete some online assessment activities.
