Annual general meeting and trustee elections
Our annual general meeting (AGM) is an event for our members to ask questions and find out more about how we're run, what we’ve achieved over the last year and our future plans.
Annual general meeting 2023
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 AGM and community event, either online or in-person.
The recording of the AGM will be made available soon, and draft minutes will be published towards the end of 2023.
Annual general meeting 2024
The provisional date of the 2024 AGM is Saturday 12 October. All members are invited to attend the AGM and vote in the trustee elections. Become a member of Parkinson's UK.
Trustee elections 2023
At the formal AGM meeting, members received the ballot results of the 2023 trustee results. Trustees were elected for 4-year terms.
We congratulate 3 trustees who were re-elected: Jane Burston for England, Kyle Alexander for Northern Ireland, and Brian Carson for Scotland. Kate Platts was elected as a new trustee for England.

Special Resolution (R1) regarding the Articles of Association of the Charity
The meeting carried a Special Resolution that the Articles of Association be amended by the deletion of the existing Article 7 and insertion of a replacement Article 7 as set out in the AGM notice and accompanying explanatory notes.

Our Board of Trustees is the governing body of Parkinson's UK and is ultimately responsible for everything we do and how we do it. Find out more about them, and what drives them to make change for the Parkinson's community.
There are around 365 Parkinson's UK local support groups across the UK. They offer a chance to discuss experiences and take part in activities with people who understand.
