The Mental Health Hub meeting aims to bring together professionals working in Parkinson's and mental health, to share updates, hear the latest research and discuss ways in which we can continue to achieve the group's aim of improving mental health services for people affected by Parkinson's.

The meeting will be led by Dr Jennifer Foley, Clinical Neuropsychologist at University College Hospitals London NHS Foundation Trust, and Excellence Network Mental Health Hub Lead. Due to Covid-19 constraints this year, the meeting will be delivered virtually giving you all an opportunity to come together and receive the latest news and updates.

A range of speakers will deliver presentations during the meeting including:

  • an update on mental health service provision for people with Parkinson’s.
  • recent work and news from the Parkinson's UK Clozapine working group.
  • discussion of ways of supporting people with neuropsychiatric and cognitive symptoms in Parkinson’s and Lewy body dementias.

During the afternoon segment, delegates will join smaller group workshops in breakout rooms to discuss a variety of topics.

We'll also be inviting attendees to pre-submit questions for a panel discussion which will explore the impact of COVID-19 and the different challenges and benefits arising from new ways of working.

The meeting will be held on Zoom from 10am - 3.00pm. Attendees will receive further details after registering for the event.
