Designing ways to use smart speakers for speech and language therapy
A PhD researcher at Ulster University is exploring how smart speakers could help people with speech and voice difficulties. Previous research showed that smart speakers, which use voice commands, could help with practicing speech exercises at home.

• and have helped a person with Parkinson’s to use a smart speaker
All participants will need access to a computer with an internet connection and a camera.
Taking part in 2 online workshops. The workshops will last for up to 1.5 hours each.
