Take part in research

How do I find out about the latest opportunities?

Our Research Support Network helps you get connected, take part in and have your say on Parkinson's research. Join to receive local opportunities straight to your inbox.

Join the Network today and get involved in research.

Who can take part in research?

Researchers need both people with and without Parkinson's to take part in research. Without volunteers, progress in Parkinson’s research would be impossible.

How do I take part?

Our Take Part Hub allows you to search for local research, simply type in your postcode to find a range of opportunities. Once you've found something interesting just contact the research centre nearest you, their details are at the bottom of the project page.

The information we provided is only for your consideration. We recommendation you contact the research teams who can discuss their research with you and recruit you.

How do I find out more?

Anyone who is considering taking part in research should speak to the professionals managing the project for more in-depth information. Contact details can be found on the project page.

If you have any queries, qualms or concerns please do ask the researchers, they should make your research visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.

What is the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on research?

Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, some research trials have paused recruitment, but you can still search opportunities and register your interest today. There are also many opportunities that can be done online. You can find our guidance on coronavirus and Parkinson's here.

You can also read about the impact of coronavirus on research funded by Parkinson's UK on our research blog.
