The Excellence Network welcomes 3 new senior appointments to its Clinical Leadership team. The trio will be instrumental in ongoing developments to revolutionise the way health and social care services support people with Parkinson’s.
Dr Camille Carroll, Consultant Neurologist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and researcher at the University of Plymouth, will share the role of Clinical Director with Dr Richard Walker, Consultant Geriatrician and researcher based in Northumbria.
They’ll be joined on the Excellence Network Clinical Leadership Team by Dr Jonny Acheson, Emergency Medicine Consultant, Leicester, in the newly created Director of Communications and Engagement role. Dr Acheson is a well known member of the Parkinson’s community, and one of the driving forces within it.
The Excellence Network is a network of health and social care professionals and people from the Parkinson’s community, who work together to improve and progress services for people with Parkinson’s. The Excellence Network is supported by Parkinson’s UK. It provides a range of education, resources, funding and networking opportunities for health and social care professionals across the 4 nations of the UK.
