The Excellence Network Exercise Hub is led by Beccy Oliver and Julie Jones, specialist physiotherapists.
Our aim
To raise the profile and quality of physical activity and exercise provision for people with Parkinson's.
Achievements
- Winners of the 2023 Excellence Network Awards Community support award
- Established a UK-wide network of professionals interested in exercise and Parkinson's, and people with Parkinson's who exercise.
- Close collaboration with Parkinson's UK to develop the physical activity and exercise offer, and Exercise Framework for professionals.
- Developed guidance for professionals delivering exercise remotely to people with Parkinson's developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

- Hold monthly 'Zoominars',an online webinar series with guest speakers and new speakers each month. View upcoming dates and topics here.
- Held 2023 Exercise Hub Study Day: brought together Hub members for a day of learning, best practice sharing and celebration.

There is lots of in-person and online support to help your clients live well with Parkinson’s. Search to find your nearest local group, emotional and practical support, health and wellbeing services or social activities.
