Recycle Week 2022 at Parkinson’s UK

17 to 23 October is Recycle Week 2022. We’re joining in and encouraging everyone to recycle for Parkinson’s UK.

Our supporters have already raised over £125,000 by generously donating items. With your help we can raise even more.

It couldn’t be easier. Declutter your home, workplace or social club and help the planet at the same time. Money raised from your pre-loved items will fund the most promising research and help fight for fair treatment and better services for people with Parkinson’s.

Colin's story

Colin lives in Tiverton and recycled and contributed to our fantastic amount raised so far. He previously fundraised for us in 2016 and raised an incredible £10,000.

Colin felt he couldn’t ask all of his lovely supporters for money again. Instead, Colin and his helpers collected unwanted gadgets for recycling. He raised £900 by recycling his community’s unwanted items.

Colin said: "Parkinson's UK are doing everything they possibly can to find a cure. But as with all things like this, it takes time and money. Recycling is a benefit to you and to our wonderful planet."
