Parkinson's UK ethnicity pay report

In 2020 we calculated our ethnicity pay gap for the first time.

Parkinson's UK is committed to becoming a more equal, diverse and inclusive organisation. As part of this, in 2020, we decided to begin calculating and publishing our ethnicity pay gap.

This is the difference between the average salary of all our white employees and the average salary of all our employees from other ethnic groups.

As of April 2022, our ethnicity pay gap is £1,806, with staff from minority ethnic backgrounds earning an average of 4.6% less than white colleagues.

The average salary for white colleagues was £38,905 and the average salary for staff from other minority ethnic groups was £37,099.

We are committed to ensuring pay parity across the charity. In June 2021 we completed work to make sure that all colleagues in the same job family are paid equally.
