Membership of Parkinson's UK is open to everyone - whether you have Parkinson's, care for someone with the condition, or are a family member or a close friend.

What do members get?

  • 4 editions a year of our magazine - The Parkinson. Each issue is full of experiences of people living with Parkinson's and current information about the condition.
  • 2 editions a year of our research magazine - Progress. Providing updates on the studies we fund and details of how to get more involved with Parkinson's research.
  • Support on your doorstep. We have around 365 local groups where you can meet other people living with Parkinson's for support and enjoy activities like exercise classes and day trips.
  • Your voice heard. Help shape our future and campaign for a better quality of life for people living with Parkinson's.

Who can I contact about my application?

What happens once I've joined?

Once we've processed your application, you'll be sent your membership card and a welcome pack within 1 month.

Can I choose joint membership?

We're unable to offer joint membership at the moment. All members need to apply individually.

We can make sure you only receive 1 mailing per household. Contact our Supporter Services team on 0800 138 6593 or [email protected] to request this.

How do I renew my membership?

Renewal by direct debit

If you're paying by direct debit for your membership, your renewal will be arranged automatically. We'll send you your new membership card on the renewal date.

Renewal by cheque, credit or debit card

If you're paying by cheque, credit or debit card for your membership, we'll write to you a month before your renewal date with a payment form to complete. Once we receive your payment, we'll send you a new membership card.

How do I update my details?

It's very important we keep our records up to date. If you move house, or need to make any changes to your membership, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting the Supporter Services team on 0800 138 6593 or [email protected].
