Developing a thinking and memory test for people with Parkinson’s
A PhD student is developing a thinking and memory test for people with Parkinson’s. Currently, there isn’t a test specifically designed to identify early and mild problems with these symptoms in Parkinson’s.
84 people without Parkinson’s who:
• live in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland
• are 50 to 80 years old
Unfortunately, those who are currently seeing a healthcare professional for memory and thinking problems, or have been diagnosed with a neurological condition, such as dementia, are unable to take part.
• Completing 2 paper screening surveys, which will take up to 10 minutes to complete. You'll be asked to post these to the researcher.
• If you are eligible to take part, you'll travel to your nearest study site to complete 2 tests. These tests will assess your thinking and memory and take 40 minutes to complete.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed
For more information, please read the participant information sheet.
