Managing Parkinson’s medications
A PhD student and researchers at Queen’s University Belfast are developing a digital educational resource to support people with Parkinson’s to manage their medications.
• People with Parkinson’s who live in the UK
• Supporters of people with Parkinson's who live in the UK
Join 3 co design workshops in December to shape the educational resource:
• Each workshop will last for 2 hours
• Workshops may take place online or in person in Belfast
Support for joining a video call can be provided. You can also take part online independently using Padlet, an online collaboration tool.
For more information, please read the participant information sheet.
Patrick was involved in this research. He said: "At times, there is no 'reward' for taking Parkinson's medication. For a lot of Parkinson's patients, myself included, my medication has had the opposite effect, and my symptoms suddenly worsen, which in turn encourages me to delay taking my medication. I hope this research can help other people navigate life with Parkinson's"
