What should we be campaigning for?

We want to make sure we continue to campaign on the issues that are important to people affected by Parkinson's. So we're asking - what matters most to you?

Each year we campaign on crucial issues such as developing better health and social care services, increasing support for research, improving access to benefits, or fighting for free prescriptions.

Every day we're raising awareness of the issues facing people affected by Parkinson's and encouraging all UK Governments and service planners to make improvements.

We listen to what you say on the forum, our helpline 0808 800 0303 and also through our fantastic Parkinson’s Local Advisers. But we want to do more to make sure we're campaigning on issues that are important to you. So we're asking - what matters most to you?

Over to you

Tell us by filling in our online survey now (NOW CLOSED).

Our Policy and Campaigns team already works on a number of issues including:

  • Better treatments and a cure faster – ensuring there is enough funding for research, and that people with Parkinson's can easily take part.
  • Quality services as standard – making sure that everyone has access to high quality health and social care services that meet their needs, and that everyone can get the right drugs and treatments at the right time.
  • Empowerment to take control – supporting people affected by Parkinson's to demand better services, and making sure people have access to the right financial support to live independently.

The views of people affected by Parkinson's shape everything we are campaigning for. Now you have the opportunity to decide what we campaign for in the future.
