MRC Career Development Awards

MRC fellowships support individuals transitioning to the next level in their careers, supporting research projects and training. We jointly fund one Fellowship a year. The grant spans over 5 years and has no limit to the funds you can apply for.
Applications are managed by the MRC.

MRC Clinical research training fellowships
Apply by 8 April 2026
MRC fellowships support individuals transitioning to the next level in their careers, supporting research projects and training. These awards are available for registered healthcare professionals. We jointly fund up to 2 clinical training fellowships a year. The grant spans over 3 years.
Applications are managed by the MRC.
