Wales-wide events and activities
Both the North and South Wales Regional Excellence Networks came together in November 2025 for an in-person event.
Led by: Sally Jones and Sion Jones, Geriatricians at Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital Bangor Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
North Wales Health Boards
If you work in one of these Health Board areas, then North Wales is your Regional Excellence Network.
- Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
- Powys Teaching Health Board (northern half of the Health Board).

South Wales Health Boards
If you work in one of these Health Board areas, then South Wales is your Regional Excellence Network.
- Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

- Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
- Swansea Bay University Health Board
- Hywel Dda University Health Board
- Powys Teaching Health Board (southern half of the Health Board).
