Parkinson's UK launches Summer of Sport campaign for 2026
Movement Your Way is the new campaign to mark the Summer of Sport in 2026.
Movement Your Way is our national campaign to get more people moving with the condition this summer.
Created to mark the Summer of Sport between June and September, the new campaign uses a range of resources and guided tutorials to help everyone with a connection to Parkinson's get active.
Since it launched in 2022, the Summer of Sport campaign has grown, with organisations highlighting sporting events and awareness days, and sharing the benefits of physical activity in the summer months.

Benefits of being active
Being active on a regular basis is shown to have many benefits for people with Parkinson's, including improving balance, coordination, muscle strength and flexibility. It can also reduce the risk of falls and supporting better sleep, mindfulness and wellbeing.
We continue to support people living with the condition to access more physical activity programmes and local sessions, as well as providing more resources to help everyone live well.
