Testing a wellbeing programme for people who self-catheterise
Some people who have problems urinating, insert a small plastic tube known as a catheter, into their own bladder to empty it.
Researchers at King’s College London have created a digital Emotional Wellbeing Programme for people who self-catheterise. They want to find out if this programme is helpful.
40 people who self-catheterise and can access a device which connects to the internet.
Completing a 10 minute online survey.
Using the digital Emotional Wellbeing Programme for up to 14 weeks:
• You’ll have a 5 to 10 minute online onboarding session with the researcher
• You can work through this at your own pace
A 1 hour interview with a member of the research team over Microsoft Teams:
• They’ll ask about your experience of the programme and self-catheterisation
