How are people with and without Parkinson’s affected by paranoia?

Some people with Parkinson’s may experience paranoia and mistrust, which can negatively affect quality of life. Researchers want to find out what types of mistrust are most common in Parkinson’s.

Who

64 people with Parkinson’s and 64 people without Parkinson’s who are 60 or older.

Unfortunately, people without Parkinson’s who have dementia are unable to take part. If you have both Parkinson's and dementia, you're welcome to take part.

What

Completing a 30 minute survey online or by post:

• This will ask questions about Parkinson’s, wellbeing, and any worries you may have about other people

• Contact the researcher to request a printed copy of the survey and prepaid envelope

For more information, please read the participant information sheet.

How you can take part

To take part by post, or if you have any questions, please contact Lauren Cash by email [email protected] or call 07775 546 457.

The deadline for taking part in this research is 30 September 2026.
