London Regional Excellence Network event
This event will provide the opportunity for the London Regional Excellence Network to come together in person to collaborate and network.
It is aimed at health and care professionals working or with an interest in Parkinson's, to help improve Parkinson's services across London.
The event is designed to bring together London based allied health professionals (AHPs), neurologists, geriatricians, Parkinson’s nurses, and researchers to network, share best practice, and learn about the latest approaches in Parkinson’s care and research.
Sessions on the day will include:
- keynote speaker, Dr Lucia Ricciardi's presentation on 'Innovation that matters: improving outcomes in Parkinson’s care'
- an update on the regional and national outcomes of the UK Parkinson's Audit
- a panel discussion focused on a real example of excellent care from the perspectives of clinicians and people with lived experience
- testimonies from people with lived experience of Parkinson's and their caregivers
- interactive breakout sessions focused on: medication, supporting those who care, non-motor symptoms and digital tools in Parkinson's care.
