The Exercise Hub's annual Study Day is back! Hosted by the Exercise Hub's core team, including leads Dr Sophia Hulbert, Clinical Academic Physiotherapist and Emma Bracher, Independent Occupational Therapist, this year's event is once again taking place in person, in Birmingham.

This year, the theme of the event is, 'From Evidence to Action: Supporting Self-Management in Parkinson’s'.

The day will include expert-led presentations, interactive workshops, and lived experience discussions. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of topics such as:

  • motivation and apathy in Parkinson's
  • key behaviour change theories, models and outcome measuring
  • coaching conversations and motivational interviewing
  • exercise engagement and self-management
  • the experiences of people with Parkinson's and practitioners.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please note that there will be a small charge for tickets again this year, in order to meet the rising venue and catering costs.

If you haven't already, you can join the Exercise Hub by sending an email to: [email protected]
