Our RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden won the BBC / RHS People’s Choice Award!
Thank you to everyone who voted for our garden in the People’s Choice Award. You’ve shown that we’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.
Our garden, called Parkinson’s UK - A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey, symbolises the journey of living with the condition: the moments of adaptation, challenge, hope and connection.
Designed by award-winning gardener and BBC presenter Arit Anderson, it’s more than just a garden. It’s a space for Parkinson’s. It tells the changing story of the condition through planting, pathways, handrails, textures and seating.
Making a difference together
We’re so pleased to bring this award home. We couldn’t have done it without you. This award shows how powerful we are as one community, and the difference we can make, together.
Shining the light on a complex condition
Our CEO, Caroline Rassell, said:
"We're so delighted that our very special garden has won the People's Choice Award and that the public loved it as much as we do. We, and our incredible designer, Arit Anderson, wanted to create a garden with and for the Parkinson’s community, that shone a light on the complex condition for the world to see.
"We are thrilled that the garden has touched and captivated so many people, and we thank each and every one of them for their vote."
