Managing long term conditions in social care settings webinar

This webinar is aimed at nursing staff working across social care settings. It will explore topics relevant to the management of long-term conditions, and to support ongoing professional development.

As the complexity of residents’ needs continues to increase, nurses in care homes and wider social care roles benefit from accessible learning opportunities that share perspectives from practice and reflect the realities of frontline care.

Featuring on the agenda is:

• Jean Almond, Programme Manager for Time Critical Medications at Parkinson’s UK 
• Clare Addison, retired neuroscience nurse, co-founder of the NHS Professionals with Parkinson’s group. Clare also has a Patient and Public Voice role on the NHSE Neurology Clinical Referencing Group and is a campaigner for excellence in care.

Jean and Clare will co-chair a session on the management of Parkinson's and will also be part of a panel discussion focused on a variety of long-term conditions.
