Our work in Northern Ireland

Around 4,400 people have a diagnosis of Parkinson's in Northern Ireland.

We're here to support every Parkinson's journey. Our small team works with over 100 volunteers based in communities across Northern Ireland. Together, we improve the lives of people with Parkinson's and those who love and care for them.

We also have Parkinson's advisers, who work in communities across the country to provide free and confidential information and support. Contact our helpline to find your local adviser.

Improving services

Our team supports a network of health and care professionals across Northern Ireland, especially those with a special interest in Parkinson's. We educate and train them, improving the quality of care they provide.

We also work with the 5 health trusts in Northern Ireland, to improve local care and services.

Press and campaigns

Our team raises awareness of Parkinson's in many ways, including our social media channels and local press. This allows us to showcase our work and reflect the lives of those living with Parkinson's every day.

We work with the whole Parkinson's community to influence local and national services and campaign for positive change. Find out how you can get involved in campaigning.

Fundraising

Our dedicated fundraising team work to raise vital funds to support a wide range of events across Northern Ireland, from our annual Walk for Parkinson's event, to quizzes, golf days and much more.

We're always grateful for the support of our community. Find out more about fundraising in Northern Ireland.
