What is Parkinson’s Connect?

Parkinson’s Connect is our pioneering programme to connect with people with Parkinson’s, and their families, right at the point of diagnosis.

Parkinson’s Connect works by allowing doctors and healthcare professionals to refer you directly to us, so that you can access the whole network of support we offer including:

  • our Parkinson’s adviser service and confidential helpline
  • up-to-date, reliable health information
  • expert tips to help you live well with the condition
  • ways to connect with other people with Parkinson’s, families, friends and carers, across the UK and in your local area
  • online learning resources specifically designed for people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

We’ve designed Parkinson's Connect with people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, carers and healthcare professionals, who are shaping it every step of the way.

Who’s it for?

Parkinson’s Connect is for everyone with Parkinson’s, as well as family, friends and carers. From the moment you’re diagnosed, whether online or offline, you can be connected to our support.

Our aim is to be there for every single person with Parkinson’s. To connect people to information and support that’s free of charge and right for you.

Are you a healthcare professional interested in Parkinson's Connect?

Since 2019, we’ve been building and piloting Parkinson’s Connect.

We now partner with over 20 healthcare teams to provide a pathway of support for people which starts from the point of diagnosis. We're always looking to expand our network of partnerships to reach more people newly diagnosed with Parkinson's.

If you’re a healthcare professional interested in how Parkinson’s Connect could work for your team, please email [email protected].

Newly diagnosed with Parkinson's?

While we’re working on expanding access to Parkinson’s Connect, if you have Parkinson's, or you know someone who has, we have the right support for you.
