Study BN44715: Testing a new drug for Parkinson’s
Researchers aim to understand whether a new drug can slow down the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms. This phase 3 study aims to measure the safety and effectiveness of the new medicine.

At least 25 people with Parkinson’s who:
• Are between 50 to 85 years old

The screening process will check if you are eligible to take part. This will require 2 to 4 visits to the hospital, taking 2 to 4 hours each time.
You’ll be randomly chosen to receive the study medication or a placebo (looks the same as the study drug but has no active effect):
• The medication will be given by an intravenous (IV) infusion (by inserting a needle into the arm and delivering the medication directly into the vein) every 4 weeks, for at least 2 years.
• You’ll receive the infusions at your local research site. Visits will last for 4 to 6 hours. Some visits may take longer.
• Visits will also involve blood and urine tests, surveys and other tests.
