Parkinson's Treatment Preference Survey
Researchers want to hear how people with Parkinson’s think about advanced treatments for movement symptoms, such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). This project will help researchers understand preferences for different treatment options.
600 people with Parkinson’s who:
• Live in the UK or the US
• Were diagnosed in 2020 or earlier
• Experience movement symptoms
• And currently take levodopa (eg Sinemet or Madopar) or another dopamine replacement drug
Unfortunately, people who have already had an advanced therapy to treat their Parkinson’s, such as DBS, focused ultrasound or an infusion pump, are unable to take part.
• Completing a 30 minute online survey
For more information, please read the Participant Information Sheet. You will be able to review this information again at the start of the survey.
