The Unified Dyskinesia Ratings Scale (UDysRS) evaluates the involuntary movements that can be associated with long term treatment with dopaminergic medication.
The scale provides measurements for 'on-dyskinsesias' and 'off-dyskinesias' and contains recommendations for descriptions of each type of involuntary movement that can be used when talking with people affected by Parkinson's. (Goetz et al 2008)
The MDS requires a ratings scales permissions request form to be completed and submitted, with fees where applicable, before working with these tools.
