They will be joined by Alison Smith, Prescribing Support Consultant Dietitian at the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB).

- an overview of hydration and nutrition, and swallowing physiology
- aspiration pneumonia risk factors
- research and evidence in Lewy body dementia for swallowing and nutrition
- practical strategies and the use of oral nutritional supplements and drink thickeners.
