Local Parkinson's Excellence Network achievements
- Exploring existing skill levels around end of life (EoL) care, and comparing the locations EoL discussions take place in.
A senior clinician will be trained on advance care planning and communication, cascading learning across Parkinson’s teams in the region.
A pilot is planned for a dedicated clinic for EoL discussions, with comparison of patient and carer satisfaction with discussions held on home visits.
