International Nurses' Day
On International Nurses' Day we celebrated Parkinson’s nurses in style.
Over the years, our partnership with the National Garden Scheme (NGS) has funded 29 Parkinson’s nurses and allied health professionals
NGS further showed its support and gratitude by hosting a group of Parkinson’s nurses at Trustee Mark Porter’s fairytale garden in Hampshire, on May 12.

Parkinson's UK - A Garden for Every Parkinson's Journey
We're delighted that our garden at RHS Chelsea this year won the People's Choice Award as well as a Silver award for Best Show Garden. It was designed by award winning gardener and BBC presenter, Arit Anderson, inspired by people living with Parkinson’s.
The garden reflected the realities of living with Parkinson’s, from challenge and adaptation to hope and connection. It tells the story behind every Parkinson’s journey, and was visited by thousands of people over the course of the show.
Now that the flower show is over, A Garden for Every Parkinson's Journey will be relocated to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.
