The Parkinson's Foundation, in collaboration with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), created Parkinson’s exercise recommendations in March 2020. These are designed to ensure that people with Parkinson’s are receiving safe and effective exercise programs and instruction.

A professional exercise guideline has been developed that considers the frequency, intensity and progression, time and volume and considerations that need to be taken when working with people with Parkinson’s for aerobic, strength, balance, agility and multi-tasking flexibility.

You can use this graphic to communicate the recommendations to people with Parkinson's.
