We're developing a new support service called Parkinson’s Connect. It will recognise the different ways people want to access help, whether online or in person. It will be available for people with Parkinson’s. As well as their family, friends, and carers.
However you’re feeling, Parkinson’s UK is here to support you, from diagnosis to the end of life.
To make sure our support stays relevant to everyone affected by Parkinson's, and so we can reach the growing number of people affected, we’re designing a new approach.
A service that works for everyone
Our new Parkinson’s Connect support service will offer personalised support, information and advice. It will recognise the different ways people want to access help, whether online or in person. And it will keep improving based on your feedback and to reflect changes in our healthcare systems.
Right now, we are testing a referral service with a small number of healthcare teams. We hope to expand this referral service to 10 healthcare teams across the UK by the end of 2020. We are also working closely with people affected by Parkinson’s to make sure Parkinson’s Connect is a service that truly works for everyone who needs it.
Interested in testing the referral service?
If you’re a healthcare professional, service manager or commissioner who’s interested in testing the Parkinson’s Connect referral service, please let us know. Email [email protected] and the Parkinson’s Connect team will be in touch.
