The organisations below can provide information and help for people with Parkinson's who drive.

A Blue Badge can sometimes be used to park nearer your destination than usual parking rules would allow and may give you extra rights. You may find the scheme helpful if you have problems walking.

If you live in England, Scotland or Wales you can apply for a blue badge online here.

In Northern Ireland, blue badges are managed by the Department for Infrastructure. You can apply online here

RiDC provides useful information on what to look for when choosing a car, helpful tips on techniques for getting in and out of vehicles and on financing your car. RiDC also publishes booklets on equipment and car adaptations.
