Par-Con: our annual community event

Par-Con, the Parkinson’s UK community convention, is our 2-day event for the Parkinson's community.

What is Par-Con?

Par-Con is your Parkinson’s community convention about living well with Parkinson’s. Planned in collaboration with a team of people living with and affected by the condition, Par-Con gives you the chance to join talks, activities and to connect with others.

Hear directly from trusted experts who can explain the latest research and opportunities, guide you through a new diagnosis or changes in your symptoms, and provide interactive sessions with tips to help manage your condition.

Save the date for Par-Con 2026!

Par-Con will be back on 13 and 14 November 2026, at the Vox Venue in Birmingham.

Par-Con 2025

We came together on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October to share information, updates and tips on living well with Parkinson's. We had 835 people join us online across the 2 days, and around 360 people joined us in person.

The convention was full of positivity, emotion and hope. From sessions on where we’re at in the search for better treatments, to an interactive session with Angela Rippon showcasing the benefits of dance. There really was something for everyone.

Our convention was organised by a working group with many different experiences. People living with Parkinson’s, newly diagnosed or diagnosed for some time. Young onset or diagnosed later in life. Supporters and loved ones. Health professionals. A special thank you to this group who helped make it a success.
