The National Garden Scheme

We're delighted to be a beneficiary of the National Garden Scheme, a charity that raises funds by opening gardens to the public.

Every year more than 3,700 inspiring gardens across England and Wales are opened, attracting over 500,000 visitors. Since its creation in 1927, the scheme has given more than £50 million to nursing and caring charities.

We're honoured to be in our fifth year in partnership – and to be the first guest charity in their 90 year history to become a permanent partner.

To date, our partnership has raised an incredible £772,000  to provide vital care to some of the 127,000 people living with Parkinson's in the UK.

Parkinson’s UK pedals to 90 gardens for 90 years

Perhaps like us you’ll be tempted to visit more than one of these beautiful gardens. Since 2015, we’ve cycled to as many gardens as we can in one day to celebrate our partnership. This year, we’re going one step further, with Parkinson’s UK teams across the UK pedalling to 90 gardens during the National Garden Scheme’s 90th anniversary (27-29 May 2017). Watch this space for more inspiration.
