Exploring how people in Ireland view Parkinson’s

A PhD student from Queen’s University Belfast is exploring how people view and understand Parkinson’s in Ireland. They want to hear from people with Parkinson’s, their carers and healthcare professionals who specialise in Parkinson’s. This information will be used to identify areas for public education to raise awareness of Parkinson’s in Ireland.

Who

• 6 people with Parkinson’s to take part in an interview

• 8 healthcare professionals who specialise in Parkinson’s to take part in a focus group

• Everyone who takes part must live in Ireland

What

For people with Parkinson’s
•  Take part in a hour-long interview with the researcher
•  this can take place online, face-to-face or over the phone

For professionals who specialise in Parkinson’s
•  Take part in an hour-long focus group discussion
•  this can take place online or face-to-face

•  If travel is required, these expenses will be reimbursed
