Here you can nominate outstanding health and care professionals for the Rising star award. 

About the Rising star award 
This award is an opportunity to recognise the contribution of a professional who has made a big impact on the care of people with Parkinson's over a short period of time. They are dedicated to putting people with Parkinson’s at the heart of what they do. 

Who is this for?
This award is for individual health or care professionals working for statutory health or care organisations. They have been working in a Parkinson’s service for less than 3 years.

Who can nominate?
We welcome nominations from colleagues.

What is the deadline?
All nominations must be submitted in full by 5pm on Friday 10 October 2025

What happens next?
The judging panel will award a winner for each category and they will be invited to the Awards reception on 26 March 2026 in London.

Entries will also be judged against the following general criteria:

  • Put people with Parkinson's and their loved ones at the heart of their work.

  • Go out of their way to support patients' needs.

  • Treat patients with dignity and respect.

  • Evidence of tangible benefits for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
