Here you can nominate outstanding health and care professionals for the People’s choice award. 

About the People’s choice award.
This award is an opportunity for members of the Parkinson’s community to recognise outstanding support from an individual health or care professional. 

We’d like to hear how the individual has gone out of their way to support you and your loved ones. And how has this made you feel and the impact of their support.

Who is this for?
This award is for individual health or care professionals working for statutory health or care organisations.

Who can nominate?
We welcome nominations from people with Parkinson’s or their family or friends.

You have the choice of submitting a nomination for a nurse, doctor or therapist. If you would like to nominate more than one individual, please complete one form for each individual under those 3 options.

What is the deadline?
All nominations must be submitted in full by 5pm on Friday 10 October 2025

What happens next?
The judging panel will award a winner for each category and they will be invited to the Awards reception on 26 March 2026 in London.

This award is an opportunity for members of the Parkinson’s community to recognise outstanding support from an individual health or care professional.

How has the individual gone out of their way to support you and your loved ones? How has this made you feel and what has the impact been? 

Entries will also be judged against the following general criteria:

  • Put people with Parkinson's and their loved ones at the heart of their work.

  • Go out of their way to support patients' needs.

  • Treat patients with dignity and respect.

  • Evidence of tangible benefits for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
