Project grants
The project grant scheme supports studies designed to
answer a single question or a small group of related questions
about an aspect of Parkinson's.
The next application deadline is 5pm on Friday 30
April 2010 and is now open for
applications. Please visit the Parkinson's Disease Society's
online application system to submit an application.
The following deadline will be Friday 24 September
2010. This round will be open for applications 2
months before the deadline.
Duration
The duration of a grant is usually 2 to 3 years.
Extension of a grant beyond 3 years is exceptional and
requires formal re-application.
Eligibility
Grants are tenable only at a United Kingdom university, NHS Trust,
statutory social care organisation or other research
institution.
Principal applicants should hold employment contracts that extend
beyond the period of the grant.
