We're proud to be collaborating with the Medical Research Council (MRC) to jointly fund fellowship schemes.

MRC Career Development Awards

DEADLINES

One Career Development Award is available under this scheme, jointly funded by Parkinson's UK and the MRC.

The next deadline for Career Development Award applications is in April 2018.

COSTS AND ELIGIBILITY

Career Development Awards are offered for approximately £1,000,000 over 5 years.

To find out more about what funding can cover and eligibility requirements, please read the MRC guidance for fellowship applicants (PDF, 862KB).

As part of a jointly funded award, fellows would be required to submit annual and final reports to Parkinson's UK and to submit grant evaluation data to Researchfish annually.

Grantholders are also asked to host up to 2 engagement activities with people affected by Parkinson's.

Up to 2 Clinical Research Training Fellowships are available under this scheme, jointly funded by Parkinson's UK and the MRC.

The next deadline for Clinical Research Training Fellowship applications is 5 April 2018.

Clinical Research Training Fellowships are offered for up to £250,000 over 3 years.
