Research grants

The Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS) funds high quality UK research projects, in the form of research grants.

Applications are encouraged from basic scientists, clinicians and healthcare professionals to undertake research that will improve treatments, care and services for people with Parkinson's.

Researcher

Funds are only provided for research directly related to Parkinson's and some support is available for international research collaborations.

As a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC), the Parkinson's Disease Society ensures that only the best quality research is funded. Each application is rigorously assessed by an independent panel of experts. This guarantees that every penny donated towards research will benefit people with Parkinson's.
