Investigating the role of genetics and sleep problems in Parkinson’s.
The aim of the research is to learn if the presence of certain genetic changes in the AQP4 gene are linked to Parkinson’s.
Who
400+ people diagnosed with Parkinson’s aged between 18-85 years.
What
You will need to attend 2 clinic visits 12 months apart. There will also be 2 home visits. At the first clinic visit you will have bloods taken and be shown how to use an Actigraph, which measures sleep quality.
You will need to have access to a computer to fill in online assessments.
