The Scotland wide Parkinson's Excellence Network meeting is aimed at all health and social care professionals involved in caring for patients with Parkinson’s across Scotland.
Hosted by the Scotland Excellence Network regional leads, the event will focus on sharing best practice in Parkinson's and providing updates on work that is happening within the Excellence Network, including:
- Discussion on the 2022 Parkinson's Audit results
- Updates from our 4 national priority programmes: Better Bone Health, Time Critical Medications, Multidisciplinary Working and the Parkinson's Nurses Workforce, including from local projects
- Updates from the Mental Health Hub, on deep brain stimulation (DBS) referral procedures and also from the Parkinson's Activity Programme
