Healthcare and coronavirus (COVID-19)

Speaking to the health professionals in your Parkinson’s team may be different or difficult during the coronavirus crisis, but we’ve put together some information to help you get the support you need.

Your best first step, and quickest way to get answers to your medical questions, is to try the usual number for your health professional. In most areas new systems are in place to make sure you can get information, support and advice. For example, it may be possible to speak to your health professional on the phone or on a video call rather than visiting them.

If you are unable to get in touch with your health professional and need further advice, you can call our helpline and ask to speak to a nurse adviser. We can give general information, support and advice. And, if we think you need an assessment of medication or symptoms, we can advise you whether the best person to do this is your GP or consultant.
