Anna's story - finding a job with Parkinson's

"I just couldn’t imagine continuing life. What on earth would happen to me without a job?"

When Anna was diagnosed with Parkinson's, she could no longer do her job and was made redundant.

However, she was desperate to continue working.

She didn't mind whether she worked in a supermarket or garden centre - she just wanted to do something.

Below she talks about how she found a new job - one which she enjoys.

She now works 2 days a week, which suits her.

"I asked if I could space the 2 days over the week. It's quite important so that I can keep going - I don't want to wear myself out too soon!"
