What the role involves

We're building a team of volunteers who can work in their local area to address the needs of people affected by Parkinson's.

We will provide you with training on speaking persuasively to politicians and decision makers, and you will work with other volunteer campaigners so you can share ideas and experiences. Together as a team we'll push decision makers to push for better services.

Working together we can make things better for people affected by Parkinson's.

what you could get out of volunteering

 You will: 

  • support improvements in your local area for people affected by Parkinson's
  • develop a variety of new skills including campaigning, negotiating and communication 
  • ensure the voice of local people affected by Parkinson's is heard and do something meaningful for people affected by Parkinson's within your local area 

what we're looking for and why

You will have:

  • a passion to improve your local area for people with Parkinson's
  • great listening communication skills
  • ability to explain complex information simply
