Mental health survey

Hi everyone,

I work in the Policy and Campaigns team at Parkinson’s UK and I wanted to let you know that we've just launched a new survey as part of our work to improve mental health support for people with Parkinson's.

We know many people with Parkinson's experience difficulties with their mental wellbeing, such as depression or anxiety. However, we're concerned that the mental health problems which can come with having Parkinson's aren't being treated as seriously as the physical symptoms of the condition. People often tell us of the huge impact this has on their day to day lives.

If you've had experience of mental health problems alongside your Parkinson's or you've cared for someone who has, do you have 10-15 minutes to take part in our survey to share your experiences?

It’s open to anyone in the UK and can be completed anonymously.

Your responses will really help to show decision makers what needs to improve so that people with Parkinson’s can access timely mental health support if they need it.

The survey can be found here. Please do share with people you know.

The survey closes on 14 May 2017.

If you have any questions please email [email protected]

Thanks,
Holly and the Campaigns team
