Hi all,

The Helpline 0808 800 0303 will be running a reduced service over the festive period. 

Christmas and New Year opening times

Christmas Eve: 9am-1pm
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: Closed
Sunday 27 December: Closed
Monday 28 December: Closed
Tuesday 29 December: 10am-2pm
Wednesday 30 December: 10am-2pm
New Year's Eve: 10am-2pm
New Year's Day: Closed
Saturday 2 January: 10am-2pm
Sunday 3 January: Closed
Monday 4 January: 9am-7pm (back to usual opening hours)

I am appalled that there is not even a skeleton service over the Christmas and New year period, not even a call back service!.

Both our daughters are working over this time; one in the   emergency services and the other on call as a mental health social worker. This is a critical time for many, not least those copping with Parkinsons alone.

Maybe some funds could be set aside for providing such cover in future years?

Let's hope that they take it on board and that there is some service over Bank Holidays next year.Perhaps the, User Involvement & Helpline teams, could let us know the outcome of their considerations.
